Now Messe Frankfurt is taking digital customer communication to a new level with its streaming studio on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. Fairconstruction, the stand construction specialists at Messe Frankfurt, have opened up a professional recording and streaming studio in Hall 4. This 500-square-metre facility includes a 72-square-metre stage for digital events, product and other presentations, and panel discussions. A highlight of this facility is an approx. 15-metre-long high-resolution LED wall that can be programmed however the customer desires.
The facility boasts a full array of lighting, sound, video and camera equipment and technology, including a selection of studio cameras and mobile preview screens for moderation and a 4K video controller. The media equipment and technology can also be supplemented with furnishings from the company’s extensive range of designer furniture. As a result, it is possible to ensure suitable settings and backdrops for online press conferences, live talks and online awards ceremonies, to name but a few examples. Fairconstruction can also handle special requests for technical capabilities and design requirements.
The stream produced in the studio will be transferred to the customer's desired platform – be it a company website, social media channel, live broadcast or video recording. Fairconstruction can also provide a proven and reliable platform if necessary.
As soon as it is possible to have events with a live audience, the large streaming studio can also be used for hybrid events. Accente, Messe Frankfurt’s own catering company, can provide culinary services for any events you hold here.
In addition to contactless temperature measurement and hand sanitiser dispensers at the entrances, UV filters are used to ensure that the studio offers a hygienic environment.
The Frankfurt exhibition grounds – conveniently located at the heart of Frankfurt with excellent transport links – play host to some 250 events every year, and they have been a place for face-to-face business encounters for many centuries. With its new streaming studio, Messe Frankfurt is now able to offer a professional stage for digital experiences as well.
The studio's opening was perfectly timed for the Frankfurt Fashion Week press conference: as of 2021, Frankfurt will be the new home for a new future-oriented fashion and lifestyle community. Anita Tillmann, Managing Director of Premium Group, and Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, joined with Peter Feldmann, Mayor of Frankfurt, on behalf of the initiators of Frankfurt Fashion Week to announce the first details of the fashion event to media representatives as part of a digital press conference. Markus Frank, Director of the Department for Economic Development of the City of Frankfurt, was broadcast into the studio via video stream. The press conference and subsequent panel discussion were streamed live in English and German, and the panel discussion opened with questions submitted by media representatives via chat.
The first Frankfurt Fashion Week is scheduled to take place from 5 to 9 July 2021.
The studio is currently hosting production of the German Design Award 2021 presentation. The digital programme’s motto is ‘All Eyes On’ and it will be presented from 12 February to 12 March 2021.
